Why do I need to authenticate to use a Social Channel?

Participants must first authenticate to a Social Chanel such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn if they would like to use that social channel to fundraise. The app requires participants to authenticate, to allow the app to post on behalf of the users, as well as grant access to their account. Without authenticating, we do not have the access nor permission settings necessary to allow the app to post on behalf of the user.
